MARCH 27: Friday Market in Torrevieja
Every Friday, Parque Antonio Soria hosts one of the largest street markets in the Vega Baja region. With up to 700 stalls spread over 82,000 square meters, visitors can find a wide variety of goods including food, clothing, shoes, and accessories at prices often lower than major supermarkets. The market offers convenient amenities such as free parking, public restrooms, and a taxi stand. Additionally, a bus service accessible to people with reduced mobility runs every 20 minutes from 8:00 to 14:00.
From Friday through Sunday, starting at 19:30, an amusement and games park suitable for all ages is also open at the market site.
MARCH 27: Play "Viejos tiempos" (Old Times)
In celebration of World Theatre Day, the Gran Teatro of Elche stages "Viejos tiempos," based on the play by Nobel laureate Harold Pinter. The story revolves around Anna, the childhood friend of Kate, who unexpectedly visits Kate and her husband Deeley after 25 years.
