April 16: Concert by “The Jazz Room”
At La Fundición concert hall-restaurant in Alicante (Carrer Poeta Pastor, 16), the group “The Jazz Room” will perform timeless jazz classics by legends Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong. This live musical experience blends performance, improvisation, and audience intimacy, transporting listeners to the golden era of jazz with a carefully curated repertoire.

April 16–19: Exhibition Featuring Picasso, Warhol, Murakami, and More
The Sea Museum of Santa Pola hosts a unique exhibition until 18 May, showcasing works by Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Takashi Murakami, Marc Chagall, and other renowned Spanish and international artists. The pieces come from the Vicente Aguilera Cerni Museum of Contemporary Art in Vilafamés (MACVAC) and the Mariano Poyatos and Filomena De Lorenzo collection (Espai Nivi gallery). Many works are previously unpublished or recent acquisitions, organized around four themes: “The Body,” “Rituals,” “Landscapes of the Soul,” and “Transcendence.” Visitors are invited to embark on a contemplative journey through physical, biographical, abstract, and symbolic realms.

April 16–19: Raluy Legacy Circus Tour in Elche
The internationally acclaimed Raluy Legacy circus performs its innovative show “Cyborg” at Recinto Feria de San Andrés (Plà Nou) in Elche until 19 April. Featuring over 20 artists, the show immerses audiences in a futuristic world of robotic characters and daring acts, including the thrilling “Globe of Death” performed in darkness.

April 16–19: Daily Trips to Tabarca Island
Visitors can take daily boat trips from the ports of Torrevieja, Santa Pola, or Alicante to Tabarca Island, the largest and only inhabited island in the Valencian Community. The island offers stunning underwater views, rich marine biodiversity, local cuisine, and historical sites. Boats accommodate up to 250 passengers, including those with reduced mobility and pets, and allow food and drinks on board.
Departure times range from 9:30 to 18:45; return trips from 10:30 to 19:30. Ticket prices from Torrevieja are €27 for adults and €19 for children.
April 17: Torrevieja Friday Market
Every Friday, the expansive street market operates at Parque Antonio Soria, one of the largest small business hubs in the Vega Baja region. With up to 700 stalls covering 82,000 square meters, the market offers a wide variety of food, clothing, footwear, accessories, and more at competitive prices. Amenities include free parking, public restrooms, and a taxi stand. Accessible buses run every 20 minutes from 8:00 to 14:00, catering to people with reduced mobility.
- From Friday to Sunday, an amusement and games park for all ages opens at 19:30.
April 17: Concert by Finnish String Quartet “Meta4”
At the ADDA Concert Hall in Alicante, the internationally acclaimed Finnish string quartet “Meta4” performs alongside the City Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Josep Vicent. Founded in 2001, Meta4 has won prestigious awards including first prize at the International Shostakovich String Quartet Competition and the International Joseph Haydn Chamber Music Competition. The quartet plays on distinguished instruments, including a Stradivarius violin and a Lorenzo Storioni cello from 1780.

Lies, unexpected encounters, and absurd coincidences spiral into comedic confusion.
