From June 26 to 28, 2026, Oviedo will once again become one of Asturias’ premier music destinations as it hosts the seventh edition of the VESU independent music festival. The first two days of concerts will take place in the regional capital, while the festival’s final day will be held in Bueño, within the municipality of Ribera de Arriba.
Supported by the Municipal Culture Foundation of Oviedo City Council and the Ribera de Arriba municipality, the festival is more than just a cultural event. It serves as a significant attraction for visitors to Oviedo’s historic center, blending live music, urban vibrancy, and growing interest in property in Oviedo.
Festival Venues for VESU 2026
The main venues for Friday and Saturday concerts will be at Espacio FMC, located in the El Campillín area on the grounds of the Santo Domingo – Dominicos educational foundation. Organizers emphasize that this venue was chosen deliberately for its cultural significance, linking contemporary music programming with Oviedo’s rich architectural heritage.
On Sunday, the festival will transition to the Central Artística de Bueño, where the closing day will adopt the VESU en La Ribera format, offering a more relaxed, daytime atmosphere.
