Construction has commenced on El Cañaveral, a 77,000 m² shopping center in Madrid’s Vicálvaro district, set to open for the 2027 Christmas season.

The Community of Madrid is set to introduce a robust housing plan for 2026/2027 featuring 15 strategic measures aimed at facilitating first-home purchases, expanding affordable rental options, and accelerating construction timelines across the region.

Roca City in Alcalá de Henares will feature 2,500–3,000 homes, including at least 20% affordable housing, extensive pedestrian zones, retail spaces, a 400-space parking facility, and over 80,000 m² of green areas adjacent to the historic city center.

At FITUR 2026, Torrevieja highlighted its extensive urban transformation, unveiling major investments in the port, promenades, public spaces, heritage, mobility, sports, and culture. Mayor Eduardo Dolón emphasized the city’s commitment to enhancing quality of life while preserving its unique identity.
